PU foam shell

PU foam shells are half-cylinder segments with longitudinal and/or transverse grooves for tight joining of the components on pipes. They are designed for thermal insulation and corrosion protection of oil pipelines, gas pipelines, and pipes for cold and hot water supply.

The production of PU foam shells is regulated by standards and shall be factory-based. Our plant uses only high-quality components from European manufacturers. In on-site laboratory provides the complete process quality control of the manufactured products.

PU foam shells are available in various lengths for pipes with diameters from 32 to 1420 mm.

Designed for insulation of pipes with hot water medium and pipelines of heating networks in rooms without ultraviolet rays’ penetration (basements, sewerages, ventilation systems etc.). A PUR shell without coating is also used for weld joints sealing and is included in thermal insulation packages for weld joints of pipes produced by THERMOHYDROINSULATION PLANT LLC: KTS-1, KTS-2, KTS-3, KTS-6, KTS-7.

With fiberglass plastic coating

Used as thermal insulation in all pipeline types. Fiberglass plastic protects the PUR shell from ultraviolet rays, mechanical damage and chemical substances.

With galvanized steel coating

Used in above-ground pipelines. Galvanized sheath provides maximum protection from mechanical damage and ultraviolet rays.

Used in pipelines laid above-ground. Foil is used to protect the polyurethane foam layer from ultraviolet rays, low and high temperatures.

With Titanflex coating

Combined material consisting of three layers: aluminum foil and two PVC film layers covering it. Used as thermohydroinsulation in all pipeline types.
